Unfortunately, things took a downturn for Brendan in the mid-2000s. He faced various challenges, including a sexual assault, a divorce, and health issues. These setbacks had a negative impact on his career.
But there’s good news on the horizon. Brendan’s fortunes have recently taken a turn for the better. He’s starting to land roles in high-profile films like The Whale. Given his undeniable charm, this could potentially mark a comeback for one of Hollywood’s most likable personalities.
2. Gary Sinise
Gary Sinise is known for his outstanding performances as military men, and his portrayal of Lieutenant Dan Taylor in Forrest Gump is considered his greatest achievement. He truly brings out the essence of this character, allowing viewers to empathize with him as a resilient man rather than just feeling sorry for him.

Her roles in big movies like Pearl Harbor, Serendipity, and The Aviator during the early and mid-2000s really made her a top actress in Tinseltown.

Nevertheless, she continues to impress with her charm, and she has found success in smaller dramas and on stage. This proves that she still possesses the talent to be a great performer.
11. Eric Bana
Eric Bana, originally from the Australian film and television industry, gained significant recognition in the US after his role in Ridley Scott’s intense Black Hawk Down in 2001. He then went on to star in major films like Hulk and Troy in the following years.
However, despite his attractiveness and ability to play diverse roles, he has mostly stayed away from the A-list. Interestingly, he seems completely fine with this, as he has mentioned himself. While he still takes on high-profile roles regularly, it would be great to see him in more of the thrilling projects that he excelled in during the early years of his Hollywood career.
