So, guess what? “Buffy the Vampire Slayer Audiobook Series,” yeah, the one called “Slayers”? It’s been axed over at Audible. Kaput.
Now, isn’t that a bummer? I mean, who didn’t see that coming, but still… a bit of a shocker, right?
The whole deal with “Slayers” was kinda cool, not gonna lie. You know, bringing back that whole Buffy vibe but in your ears this time.
But, alas, it’s no more. Audible just decided it was time to pull the plug.
Makes you wonder, though. What went wrong? Were the vampires just not… vampy enough?
Or maybe, just maybe, it was us. The listeners. Perhaps we’re the ones changing.
Anyway, it’s a real shame. “Slayers” had potential, didn’t it?
Well, that’s the way the cookie crumbles, I guess. Onto the next vampire adventure, wherever that may be.
