Drew Barrymore is stepping up to defend her talk show’s return to filming amidst the ongoing strikes within the entertainment industry. The actress acknowledged the issue of strikes and declared she is responsible for her actions, saying “I own this choice.”

“I understand and respect the walkouts but to anyone who is angry about me opening my show up again, please know that my show is not directly involved in either strike,” she explained. The Hollywood star wanted to clarify that her talk show, “The Drew Barrymore Show,” decided to go back into production but noted that the decision shouldn’t be considered as dismissing the strikes.
