CBS has announced plans for an Everybody Loves Raymond reunion special, bringing together the beloved sitcom’s cast for the first time since the show ended in 2005.
The network confirmed the reunion will air as a one-hour special during the 2024-25 television season. Specific air dates haven’t been released yet.
Ray Romano will return alongside Patricia Heaton, Brad Garrett, and Monica Horan. The special will also feature tribute segments honoring late cast members Peter Boyle and Doris Roberts, who passed away in 2006 and 2016 respectively.
“We’re excited to bring the Barone family back together,” said CBS Entertainment President Amy Reisenbach in a statement. “This show touched millions of families, and we know fans have been waiting for this moment.”
The reunion will include behind-the-scenes footage from the show’s nine-season run. Cast members will share stories about filming and discuss the show’s lasting impact on television comedy.
Romano, who co-created the series with Phil Rosenthal, will serve as executive producer for the special. Rosenthal is also expected to participate in the reunion.
Everybody Loves Raymond won 15 Emmy Awards during its run from 1996 to 2005. The show consistently ranked in the top 10 for ratings and remains popular in syndication worldwide.
The series finale drew over 32 million viewers, making it one of the most-watched sitcom endings in television history.
CBS will announce the exact premiere date closer to the special’s production schedule. The reunion marks the network’s continued investment in nostalgic programming that brings back classic shows for special events.
