Hulu’s historical comedy-drama, The Great, has come to an end after three successful seasons. The show, which followed the life of Catherine the Great, played by Elle Fanning, and her tumultuous relationship with Emperor Peter III, portrayed by Nicholas Hoult, will not be renewed for a fourth season.

The Great, created by Tony McNamara, initially premiered in 2020 and received positive reviews from both audiences and critics. It seamlessly blended humor and drama while showcasing the incredible power dynamics and political intrigue within the Russian court of the 1700s.

Despite its strong performances and captivating storytelling, the series will not return for another season on Hulu. Fans will undoubtedly be disappointed, as the show had a strong following and was highly regarded for its unique take on historical events.
