In response to recent backlash regarding travel expenses, Jeopardy! has decided to increase the payments for its runner-up contestants. The popular quiz show faced criticism for not providing enough financial compensation to cover the costs for contestants traveling to compete on the show.

Now, the second place contestant’s prize will be raised from $2,000 to $3,500, while the third place contestant’s prize will increase from $1,000 to $2,500.
