Actor Kelsey Grammer, who played the iconic character Dr. Frasier Crane on the hit sitcom Cheers, has rejected the idea of his character returning to the famous bar on any potential reboots. In an interview, Grammer referred to Cheers as a “National Monument” and expressed concern about harming the show’s legacy, stating, “We don’t want to desecrate a national monument.”

Grammer’s portrayal of Frasier Crane spanned more than two decades, originating in Cheers and continuing in its spin-off series Frasier. The actor said that any attempt to revisit the original bar setting of Cheers would be a disservice to the memory of the original series and its beloved characters.
