Lizzo has publicly responded to a lawsuit filed by three former employees, who accuse her of harassment and discrimination on the set of her reality show, Watch Out for the Big Grrrls. The Grammy-winning artist took to social media to address the claims, which she says are “too outrageous to not be addressed.”

The lawsuit, filed by three individuals named as Jane Doe 1, Jane Doe 2, and Jane Doe 3, alleges that Lizzo engaged in discriminatory behavior and directed racial slurs at them while working on the show. In response, Lizzo posted a video on social media, stating, “I am not a person who would ever do the things that I am accused of in this lawsuit. These allegations are outrageous, dangerous, and completely false.”

According to the plaintiffs, they were often subjected to racial slurs and derogatory comments from Lizzo. Additionally, they claim that they were forced to work in difficult conditions, without access to meals or basic amenities.

Moreover, the lawsuit accuses Lizzo of sharing one of the plaintiff’s private medical information, and alleges that the singer “directed racial slurs at her when she objected to the disclosure of her medical condition.”

Despite the serious nature of these allegations, Lizzo remains insistent that they are unfounded. Furthermore, she called on people to “think critically” about the claims made in the lawsuit. In the video, Lizzo stated, “I would like to invite you all to think critically and follow the facts. These allegations are not true, and I am confident that this will be proven in court.”

The singer also expressed her disappointment and sadness at the situation, adding, “It breaks my heart that there could even be a possibility of this being true. I have always been a person who believes in justice, fairness, and equality.”

As the legal process unfolds, Lizzo’s determination to defend her character against these allegations remains evident. It remains to be seen how the case will be resolved and whether the accusations will have any lasting impact on her career.
