- New subscribers will have to pay $6.99 for ad-supported tier and $9.99 for the ad-free tier.
- Current subscribers will not be affected by the price changes until their next billing cycle.
Popular streaming service Peacock is set to raise its prices from next month, impacting new customers who will have to pay extra fees when signing up for the platform. Peacock, which offers a wide range of content including shows, movies, and live events, plans to implement these changes from October.
New subscribers will be subjected to the updated fees, with the ad-supported tier set to cost $6.99 per month, a one-dollar increase from the current $4.99 per month. Meanwhile, the ad-free tier will increase by two dollars, from $7.99 per month to $9.99 per month.
It is worth mentioning that existing subscribers will not feel the impact of these changes immediately. Current customers will see no difference in their bills until they begin a new billing cycle. This means that the previous pricing will still be in effect throughout the last full billing cycle before the changes.
