Sarah Michelle Gellar has shown her support for her Buffy The Vampire Slayer co-star Alyson Hannigan ahead of the premiere of Dancing With the Stars. The actress took to social media, wishing her former co-star the best as she competes in the popular dance competition. Dancing With the Stars kicks off its 30th season on September 20.
In an Instagram post, Gellar shared a throwback picture of the duo from their time on the iconic TV series, together with a message to Hannigan: “So excited to watch you this season! You’re going to be amazing! Sending you lots of luck and love.” Gellar also added hashtags including #TeamAlyson and #DWTS to show her support.
Hannigan, who played Willow Rosenberg on Buffy The Vampire Slayer, joined the cast of Dancing With the Stars season 30 alongside other celebrities like Jojo Siwa, Suni Lee, and Melora Hardin. The show’s premiere will mark the first time Hannigan has participated in a dance competition.
