– Burgess questions whether the show is overlooking morality for entertainment

“Dancing with the Stars” professional dancer Sharna Burgess has expressed her astonishment at the casting of Adrian Peterson for the reality show’s 32nd season. Peterson, an NFL player, has previously faced child abuse charges. In an exclusive interview, Burgess questions whether the show is prioritizing entertainment over morality.

Burgess admitted to being “shocked” upon hearing that Peterson would be participating in the show, given his past allegations. The talented dancer went on to express her concerns about the implications of his casting on public perception and whether it might send the wrong message. “Sometimes, I think we lean too much to entertainment. I just get nervous that we start crossing the line with what’s moral here,” she said.

Despite her reservations, Burgess acknowledged the entertainment value of having Peterson on the show. However, she emphasized that it is essential for the show to maintain a balance between entertainment and the values it promotes.
