A preview of the Lifetime movie adaptation of VC Andrews’ “Dawn” showcases Donna Mills’ eerie character paying a ghostly visit to Brec Bassinger’s protagonist. A part of the “Landry Family” miniseries, “Dawn” is the first installment in the four-part television event as it premieres on Sunday, March 6.
In the exclusive sneak peek, Donna Mills plays the character Lillian Cutler, a wealthy and glamorous plantation owner. When she unexpectedly shows up at Brec Bassinger’s bedroom, the latter is startled. The two exchange chilling words with Lillian stating, “I heard a voice welcoming me to Greenwood.” Meanwhile, Dawn, portrayed by Bassinger, questions her peculiar statement, asking if she had been talking to a ghost.
As the story unfolds, secrets of their bloodline will be revealed in twists and turns. Based on the popular book series by VC Andrews, the Landry Family saga will include three more films to follow “Dawn”: “Ruby”, “Pearl in the Mist” and “All That Glitters”. Fans of VC Andrews can expect gripping drama and suspense with each part of the series coming to screens each Sunday starting on March 6.
