Suits Creator Aaron Korsh Admits Underestimating Show’s Success as it Breaks All-Time Streaming Record Release Date

– Suits becomes most streamed show on NBC’s Peacock
– Creator Aaron Korsh admits to underestimating the series’ longevity
– The legal drama beats out several popular shows, including The Office

“Suits” creator Aaron Korsh recently confessed to having underestimated the enduring popularity of the legal drama after the show broke all-time streaming records on NBC’s Peacock platform. The series surpassed a number of popular shows, such as “The Office,” “Parks and Recreation,” and “Yellowstone,” to claim the title of the most-streamed show.

Korsh took to Twitter to share his thoughts and express gratitude to the show’s loyal fanbase: “Holy hell… I never thought that Suits would move the needle like this. I am in awe… I truly thought that when some of these massive, beloved shows came to Peacock the idea that Suits would remain on top got me laughing.”

The USA Network series initially premiered in June 2011 and concluded in September 2019. The show follows the trials and tribulations of a college dropout, Mike Ross, played by Patrick J. Adams, who practices law at a major New York law firm, alongside his mentor, Harvey Specter, portrayed by Gabriel Macht.

“Suits” enjoyed a successful nine-season run and launched the acting career of Meghan Markle, who eventually left the show to join the British Royal family after marrying Prince Harry. The show has consistently gained a devoted following and substantial viewership over the years, with fans continuing to binge-watch the series even after it ended. Despite facing stiff competition from iconic shows like “The Office,” which is well-known for its rewatchability, “Suits” has emerged as a favorite on NBC’s streaming platform, Peacock.
