CBS has announced the premiere date for the 14th season of the popular daytime talk show, The Talk. The new season is set to kick off on September 13, 2021. Additionally, the network has confirmed that there will be some changes in the lineup of hosts for the upcoming season.

The announcement revealed that Akbar Gbajabiamila, former NFL player and American Ninja Warrior host, will be joining the show as the newest co-host. Gbajabiamila has already guest co-hosted on The Talk several times prior to being offered a permanent position.

However, the forthcoming season will also see some departures from the show’s hosting panel. Specifically, Elaine Welteroth and Carrie Ann Inaba are leaving the program. Inaba has been a co-host on the show since 2017, while Welteroth joined the lineup in 2020.

The rest of the hosting panel, which includes Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood, and Amanda Kloots, will be returning for the 14th season. The Talk offers a platform for its hosts and guests to engage in lively discussions about current events, pop culture, family matters, and other relevant topics.
