Willow star Warwick Davis is expressing his disappointment at the recent cancellation of the fantasy series on Disney+, referring to the decision as “embarrassing.” After starting the creative process for the adaptation of the iconic 1988 movie of the same name, the series was removed from the platform due to different visions and creative differences.

Davis said that while he understands how important decision-making is in the industry, there needs to be a more effective way to go about it. The actor also mentioned that the cancellation of Willow is a surprising and difficult turn of events that should be scrutinized.
