Zachary Quinto has just landed a major television role, as he’s been cast in the leading role of Dr. Christopher Duntsch in the upcoming NBC drama series “Dr. Death.” This new show is based on the popular podcast of the same name, chronicling the harrowing true story of a Dallas neurosurgeon who racked up a considerable number of dead and maimed patients before his license was finally revoked.
Apart from Quinto, “Dr. Death” will also star Alec Baldwin and Christian Slater, making it a powerhouse ensemble of talent. Baldwin will portray neurosurgeon Robert Henderson, who sets out to expose Duntsch’s crimes, while Slater will play vascular surgeon Randall Kirby, who joins Henderson in the quest for truth and justice.
